 I am a certified educator with over a decade of experience teaching across elementary grade levels. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Connecticut.

As a mother of two, my vision for Our Lady of Light Schoolhouse was shaped in a deeply personal way—born from a desire to create something different for my oldest child as she prepared to enter Kindergarten. I sought a learning environment that was calm, intentional, and truly responsive to the needs of each child, where both strong academics and faith formation could flourish.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of how children learn and grow—recognizing that each child develops at their own pace and in their own way.

My approach to teaching is rooted in both strong academic instruction and a commitment to nurturing the whole child. I blend research-based curriculum with Montessori-inspired, hands-on learning to create a classroom environment that is both structured and responsive to each student’s needs.

I founded Our Lady of Light Schoolhouse with a clear vision: to create a calm, intentional learning environment where each child is known, supported, and taught at their individual level, while being formed in both faith and character.

With a thoughtfully designed, small cohort model, I am able to provide individualized, mastery-based instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics—ensuring that each child builds strong academic foundations with confidence.

At the heart of my work is a desire to guide students not only in their learning, but in their growth as thoughtful, capable, and faith-filled individuals.
